About
Using shapes and layering, I explore and celebrate the diversity of form and colour.
My paintings tend to grow organically, sometimes starting with a theme, the intention of conveying a particular feeling or mood, or to distil the essence of a person, place or state of mind.
I like to work on multiple surfaces at a time, so that I don’t get stuck in trying to solve one particular image, and I can allow each piece to evolve at its own pace.
